Reuse of rainwater.

In October 2024, Peeters Tank Services launched a large-scale cleaning project at the ExxonMobil site in Antwerp. One of the tanks being addressed was a sludge tank with a capacity of approximately 6,000 m³. To facilitate cleaning, the sludge was first liquefied. Group Peeters developed its own system for this, using specialized containers that collect the used flushing fluid, separate the sludge, and reuse the water further down the line. Thanks to this approach, the continuous use of "fresh" water is no longer necessary. The result? A dual benefit: less waste and maximum reuse of process water. This means lower costs for the client and a more efficient, sustainable process for everyone.
