Heat exchangers and individual components can be intensively cleaned using ultrasonic technology without disassembly. The equipment is immersed in an ultrasonic bath containing the appropriate cleaning fluid. Sound waves loosen the contamination, even in places inaccessible to a high-pressure water jet. Combined with pre- or post-treatment (rinsing or high-pressure), even the most severely contaminated (blocked) heat exchangers, pipes, reactors, or columns can be cleaned.
